Pohls Mediation is based in Walnut Creek, California, a city in the East Bay area that is approximately 30 miles from San Francisco. Our office is just a few steps from the Walnut Creek BART station.

 

As a practicing litigation attorney, though, Rob Pohls always has had a statewide practice. Indeed, while his law firm maintains its primary office in the East Bay, Rob frequently is retained for cases that are pending in Southern California. Rob therefore has access to mediation spaces throughout both Northern and Southern California.

 

When the parties agree, Rob also is willing to conduct mediation sessions in space made available by the parties (or their attorneys). Alternatively, Pohls Mediation often can secure from third parties a suitable mediation space in any of several "neutral" locations.

 

Provided the mediation is conducted within the State of California, Pohls Mediation does not charge the parties for Rob's travel time or expenses, nor does it pass on to the parties any of the costs of securing a mediation space.

Rob also is willing to conduct mediation sessions outside of California. In addition, Pohls Mediation offers virtual mediation, an effective alternative to in-person mediation that eliminates the time and expense of traveling to a mediation session and often helps facilitate scheduling.
